Humans are incredibly lucky to be able to witness an eclipse of our star. What are the odds that a planet with at least one moon will be just the right distance from its native star with all three orbiting in just the right way to line up like this? Then calculate the odds of a species evolving to the point of self-awareness and developing technology sophisticated enough to observe the phenomenon with greater detail.
An eclipse should remind each human on Earth just how small we all are in the broader universe.
